Fill power is the measure of the quality of down. Fill power measures the number of cubic inches that a single ounce of down occupies. Higher fill power is equated with higher loft. Higher fill power down will last longer and insulate better and look fluffier.
Closed baffle box design keeps the down in place and prevents cold spots. Baffles are vertical walls of fabric between the top and bottom of the comforter.

Winter level is for those in extremely cold climates or those without room heating (such as in a cabin), or those who simply like the look of the extra high loft regardless of the high warmth level.
