Dear David,
The duvets arrived in San Franciscowithin just three days of shipping: we were
pretty amazed at the speed. The box was a little beaten up, but the contents
were just fine.
We are very pleased indeed with the girls' new duvets. They are the real deal -
just like we've enviously admired in luxury hotels in Germany- comfortable,
sturdy fabric that the down won't poke through; lightweight goosedown filling;
proper baffles, not just squares sewn directly through the fabric. I'm a
European transplant to the US, and have bought five or six duvets over the years
with hope in my heart in an attempt to replace the one I left behind in the UK
more than 20 years ago. But I've always been sorely disappointed by the
somewhat fluid interpretation of 'duvet' and 'quality'. So I'm thrilled to have
found you.
I especially like that the manufacturer is a long-standing enterprise, and that
the duvet business is their main focus and not just a by-product of a big
commercial goose-for-dinner operation. It's nice to know that no geese were
killed to provide my children with a cosy night's sleep (not that I'm adverse
tucking in to a nice fat goose, but it's a happy thought that these geese will
live to provide down for someone else's children's duvets as well). And all at
a fair price, to boot.

Got the stuff yesterday. Beautiful products, both the sheet set and the comforter. My wife loves them, she is in heaven. She just drank it in while I the comforter on and off several times through the night. For me, I will have to keep the window cracked open to cool the room down as the winter weight comforter is incredibly warm. That's ok though, because I will find the fresh air and cool room great for sleeping and we will both be toasty at the same time. The construction quality is superb. Looking at the seam detail I have no doubt this comforter will outlast its fifteen year warranty.
